What is it used for?

The system fully assists sellers, representatives or regional branches during negotiations with a client. Making use of the ready made base of roofing products, a seller is able to evaluate a given project or design considering:

1. a kind of roofing (e.g. roofing sheet tiles, trapezo- sheets)
2. kinds of flashings (e.g. ridge tile, valley roof gutter)
3. additional accessories (e.g. screws, roof windows, film)

On the basis of tracts dimentions ( with real dimensions, angle of inclination/ depression or percentage by falling) and a particular product chosen to cover the roof, when optimum conditions are taken into consideration we are given full information on the way the roofing is realized. The assembly design/ drawing of roofing may be changed by a seller in order to delete or divide particular elements. Adding the flashings and additional accessories we are given all the information necessary to provide a client with an offer ready for their design.

Functions of the system

The program is now equipped with the following functions:

• creating optimum conditions for roofing, it is possible to create optimum conditions for hipped roof end by using : modular roofing (roofing sheet tiles), non-modular one (trapezo- sheet), tiles, panels
• introducing roofing measurements done in three ways: 1.refering to real tract dimentions, 2.refering to the angle of inclination/ depression, i.e. giving the angle of inclination for the tract end and the length of the wall on which the roof end mentioned is placed instead of giving the length of the tract, 3.refering to the percentage of falling, i.e. giving the tract percentage of falling and the length of the wall on which the roof end mentioned is placed instead of giving the length of the tract
• prepared offers history / designs measured and evaluated kept database for the offers/ designs that can be edited, printed or deleted at any time
• each offer can be printed or exported to MS Word format (*.doc) and PDF a document printed gives the prize offer for a client, a sheet length list, an appendix including an additional accessories, flashings together with assembly drawings of each tract
• multilingual software dialogues and reports may be translated into a chosen language, actually there are following language versions : POLISH, ENGLISH, CZECH, SLOVAK, LITHANIAN, ROMANIAN, RUSSIAN
• a few methods of sheet length rounding with no rounding, rounding to N mm, length reduction in N mm environment, rounding to a full module
• possibility to determine a color for each roofing the color selected and chosen by a client can be marked on an offer
• possibility to determine a number of sheets in case of not cut to-the measure roofing it is possible to determine the number of sheets with the dimensions stated which are available on stock in a warehouse
• choice of any number of additional accessories for a given offer one can state additional products to the offer, everything will be included in one offer
• possibility to determine individual prices valid for clients
• possibility to determine a discount on each element on offer a per cent discount is determined: separately on sheet, separately on additional accessories and separately on roof work
• two kinds of accessories 1.number counted in compliance with standards for 1 square meter of roof, 2.number given by a user
• creating optimum conditions including attic windows and roof hatches roofing holes are given in the way analogues to the roofing outline
• roofing copying identical roofing may be copied optional number of times (e.g. envelope roof one roofing introduced and copied three times)
• roofing repository typical roofing shapes may be copied for further use in other projects/ designs
• ergonomic and interactive ways of giving roofing dimensions by giving coordinates of the edges of tracys, the index shows the future shape of the tracts mentioned
• tracts dimensioning including dimensioning mode lets us see each dimension of X and Y edges
• possibility to determine a lot of flashings for the edges of tract, for the edges we determine which part of flashing is connected with the tract mentioned
• tract may be edited not only by means of coordinates but also by means of side lengths
• tract may be introduced by means of a mouse pointing at its edges
• coordinates may be introduced in various units of measurement: mm, cm, or m
• after creating optimum conditions we have access to tract sheet edition by means of a mouse a lot of operations can be realized to adjust an offer to the client. Having optimum conditions created we can delete sheets, make them longer or shorter by a module or make them longer or shorter to a module, change the sheets, change their places, displace them up, down, to the left or right, make the parting line equal or justified, displace the whole roofing on the hipped roof end together with creating optimum conditions left, right, cut the sheets in the tract in a line, determine the position module starts from , determine the way sheets are placed, determine assembly from the right, left, give dimensions in mm or number of modules, enlarge or reduce a drawing
• results after creating optimum conditions are seen on the last lap; they also show the value of an offer and the value of the discount granted
• one can insert one’s own logo the logo on the program license owner may be printed on an offer
